Good morning!  I love you and…

POETRY

I can’t imagine life without poetry.  I call them word-songs.  Poems are a way to take a snapshot of Life, to attempt to frame it within words in the hopes of making you feel beyond your everyday feelings.  They are like the markers along the path of pilgrimage, pointing the way, nudging you along.  Poetry, good poetry, helps you grow, transform, evolve.  Can we ever mention “good poetry” without including something from one of the Masters herself, Mary Oliver?  I know I can’t.  Here is one of her most beloved classics.  I hope you enjoy.

May you have a beautiful day!

Love,

Tabitha

the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,

calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting —
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
