Chair Yoga – 75 minutes (via Zoom – Saturday 10 – 11:15 am)
** Please note: This class can be vigorous at times and is not suitable for those with serious mobility issues. Classes include work on all planes – lying, kneeling, sitting, standing; this is not a seated-only class.
This dynamic class uses the support of a chair to assist in accessing poses that offer a challenge for those students who live with joint/flexibility issues, or who would like to explore poses in a different way. Poses are linked in sequences that connect body, breath and mind in an attempt to move energy and improve focus, concentration, strength, awareness and relaxation.
Yoga Nidra – 45 minutes (via Zoom – Wednesdays 7:30 – 8:15 pm)
In Yoga nidra, we systematically move through all levels of human existence, from the physical to the spiritual, to discover what is there and to become witnesses to our experience. It is through this witnessing that we gain clarity, allowing us to make better decisions and to relate to others and ourselves in healthy ways. The whole process of Yoga nidra has been developed as yet another way for us to free ourselves from suffering, allowing us to experience the inner peace that is always there. And as we become more peaceful, so too does the world
